Hey everyone, we have some big charity events that are going to be coming up before the end of the year. We are also planning on doing a number of charity raffles for swag.
I’m not sure if you were aware of this or not but in the past, COs have paid out of their own pocket for swag to be donated for charity raffles.
So can we all dip into our swag stashes to help? Also if we have things to contribute other than traditional Legion stuff that would be cool. For example; I am going to be donating some autographed pictures and swag that I got from my friend Pam Rose, who was in The Cantina scene in A New Hope.(Shown here in these pictures)
But I know a lot of us have bags of patches, collectables, and unique stuff that people would love to bid on for charity. Ideas: action figures, posters, coins, patches, Star Wars household items, lightsabers, rare Star Wars items,etc, etc, and unique stuff that people would love to bid on for charity.
So do you have items that you would like to donate to the cause so that we don’t have to have our hard-working command staff pay for these things themselves?
