Secure changing/staging area: TBD. It will likely be a pipe & drape area behind our booth. The convention center will be locked and attended by security overnight, however, our individual booth and changing area will not have additional locks or security. The plan is that the changing room will be shared with the other clubs, wristbands will be *required* for access. Each club (501st GGG, Rebel Legion Endor Base, Mando Mercs Wolves of Mandalore) will manage their own wristband distribution based on their own criteria.  In order to receive a wristband from GGG to access the dressing room, you must sign up and work a full shift (either troop in costume or work a non-costume support shift) on each day of the con that you would like access to the changing room space. Wristbands are limited to GGG Members and trained handlers. Please no family, friends, non-trooping members in the dressing room. If you have someone you would like to bring with you to assist you with suiting up or down, please ask them to complete GGG handler training PRIOR to the event and RSVP on the forums. Thank you.
Handler/Photographer: Yes, please RSVP on the forums and comment your desired shift. Please note there are a few new “non-costumed” roles on the signup sheet.
Weapons: Please review Fan Expo’s weapon and props policy in full. Blasters etc. must be inspected and peace bonded by the prop check table. Lightweight lightsabers are permitted. The policy calls out no blunt, heavy weapons such as baseball bats or hockey sticks, so props like gaffi sticks should be inspected by the prop desk for a final ruling on-site. We (GGG event coordinators) are trying to provide accurate information. HOW TO SIGN UP:
We need to attend/staff our booth for the full duration of time that the show floor is open. We need a minimum of 2 troopers and 1 non-costumed handler signed up for each shifts on all days.

2. Use the forum RSVP system (drop-down signup menu) to sign up like you would for other troops
3. Please leave a comment on the forum event for each day which shift & role (costume, handler, etc.) you are signing up for. Shifts may fill up quickly, please post 2nd and 3rd choices or if you are available for multiple shifts
4. Lead characters (Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, Din Djarin) MUST sign up for a shift to allow other members the opportunity to suit up.
5. Costume/handler tickets will not be approved unless you also indicate which shift you are signing up for.

TOD CREDIT:

(Note – some shifts are shorter than 2 hours, these shorter shifts will still receive TOD for trooping the full shift).
If you would like to change your shift due to photo ops, panels, autographs, shopping, exploring the con, etc., PLEASE let us know BEFORE the day you’ve signed up for so we can balance signups and make arrangements to staff the booth.

GGG Events planned:
Picture at the booth at setup, the start of each shift, and the end of teardown
Large GGG photo ops (time each day based on signups when most members can attend)
March around the convention center (time each day based on signups)
If you would like to organize a squad or detachment photo, please let us know so we can add it to this schedule.

12:00pm – Death Watch Meetup (all clubs)

7:00pm – After troop dinner: meet up with fellow troopers, visiting troopers, and possibly some other guests! Bring good vibes and swag to trade!

Convention Badges / Tickets:

We WILL be getting exhibitor passes for our booth.

The PRIORITY for exhibitor passes will be for people working in the booth. We have enough passes that we can GUARANTEE a badge for every role on the shift sheet while still having a few extras so people can wander around and enjoy the rest of the show.

HOWEVER we do not have an unlimited amount and will need people to return their badges at the end of day so that we can ensure we have enough for the next morning.
